When you enter into a Home Equity Agreement with HOMEBRIDGE, HOMEBRIDGE's profit or loss value is related to changes in your home's value from the initial growth value at the time of contract formation. HOMEBRIDGE takes a percentage of your home's future value, which equals the amount of equity you use multiplied by 2.3. For example, if you use 10% of your home's value as cash, HOMEBRIDGE's share will be 23% (10% x 2.3). At contract termination, HOMEBRIDGE applies its share percentage to your home's updated value to calculate the payment amount. To protect families, HOMEBRIDGE limits the annual return to no more than 30% per year, providing predictable, fair payment terms.
